In this section show  distinct examples of cities Smart City in Spain and Portugal, that stand out in different fields.

The study "Smart cities, to an intelligent economy", elaborated by IDC Spain, stands out the cities of Málaga, Barcelona, Santander, Madrid and San Sebastián like the "Top-five" Spanish of intelligent cities. In Portugal stands out the project Plan IT Valley,  a project of Smart City pioneer and ambitious in the region of Walls of Coura, in the North of Portugal.
