The Direction Xeral of Local Administration is the organ commissioned of the management of the competitions that attribute to the Autonomous Community of Galicia regarding the promotion of lines of collaboration with the Galician local entities, regarding the announcement and to the execution of lines of destined subsidy to them. Consistently, it commissions  of the proposición and management of conjoint programs with the local corporations in the field typical of the competitions that correspond him to the Ministry of Presidency, Administracións Public and Xustiza, including the coordination of proposals that proceed regarding the announcements, selection and adjudication of the subsidies, helps that allocate  to the Galician local entities, doing a follow-up of his justification.

To the Direction Xeral of Local Administration corresponds him also the promotion of the lines of collaboration with Galician local entities regarding: impulse and management of programs with finance of the European Union and of cooperation transfronteriza, the analysis of the rule of the Autonomous Community related with the local entities, the incorporation of new technologies, as well as the advice with general character of the own competitions of this Direction Xeral.

Competitions in the project

The Direction Xeral of Local Administration participates in all the actions of the project and, in particular, coordinates the following activities:

• Preparation of the ADL by means of a model sistémico participatory and adaptable, sharing the coordination with the AMTEGA.
• Definition of guidelines for the modernisation of the local Administration.
• Management and coordination, like Beneficiario main of the project.
• Communication, coordinating all the activities of diffusion of the project in his group.
